"Spring"  
 

I and fellow photographer, Lynda Schiff, had entries in the "Spring" show!  Chosen artwork represented views of "Spring" from the eyes of 37 artists in mixed media, oils, watercolors, pen and ink, etchings, photography and collage.  Opening Reception was on Sunday, March 14, 2010.

"2010 Spring Art Show"

"Sunny Smile" won 3rd place in the Photography category of the Spring Art Show.  This show was juried by John Hood, Allan Hancock Instructor.  The reception was on Saturday, April 3, 2010.

I was asked to join fellow artists - Vicki Anderson, Angie Hamlin, and Carol Olivera.  I had a great time! 
 

The annual Santa Barbara County Vintners' Festival Weekend attracts wine lovers from near and far for an opportunity to meet member vintners, taste their wines, and enjoy great food, music and art. 
 

The main event is the Vintners' Festival - a festive outdoor environment at River Park in Lompoc on Saturday, April 17th from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. The festival features the wines of our 130+ members of the Association, live and lively music, a silent auction and wine country cuisine by the area’s finest chefs.

May 2 - June 6, 2010

"April Showers Bring May Flowers” 
 
All three of my flower entries were accepted into the exhibit by the Wildling Art Museum's Spring Photography Competition.  "Spinning Orange" was awarded 1st place!  Also accepted into the show were "Darling Daisy" and "Dressed in White".

The distinguished jury consisted of Joe Dickerson, Steve Lewis and Executive Director Stacey Otte, who had the difficult job of narrowing the field to 23 entries out of 112 submittals.

The public opening and reception will be held on May 2, 2010 at 4:00 - 5:00 pm.  The public is invited ... please come!
